I love the textures and patterns. The fur was a happy accident by keeping the oil wet.

This lovely lady has a famous relative in Bel Air but, resides in Texas. I had to work from photos which is sometimes difficult with black fur. Luckily I have a live in model who helped with this painting.

This is Buddy. He was my aunt in Austin's favorite cocker. I love the lush blond coat and wet nose with those soulfull eyes.
